Annette Conklin Obituary

Annette E. Conklin, 60, of Baldwinsville, NY, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on June 6, 2026, after her battle with cancer.

She was born on August 3, 1965, in Syracuse, NY, to Jose Faria and Marjorie Roberts (Mayer).

Annette graduated from Cicero High School in 1983 and Bryant & Stratton College in 1984. Following graduation, she began her professional career at PHP/Excellus, where she worked for over 20 years before later joining the Solvay Union Free School District as an Administrative Assistant, where she built many lasting friendships.

In 1986, Annette married Robert T. Conklin, Jr. They shared 39 wonderful years of marriage, raising their family and making countless memories.

Annette's greatest joy was spending time with her family. She loved summer days at the family’s camp on Sandy Pond, relaxing on the beach, caring for her beloved cats, and cheering on the Atlanta Braves with her son, Colin. She never passed up a good breakfast and had a well-known sweet tooth. Whether she was baking treats for family and friends or enjoying them herself, sharing something homemade was one of the many ways she showed her love.

Those who knew Annette will remember her kind heart and willingness to help anyone in need. She had a way of making people laugh, offering comfort when it was needed, and making everyone around her feel welcome. Her generosity and genuine care for others left a lasting impact on all who were fortunate enough to know her.

Annette is survived by her husband, Robert; her son, Colin (Elizabeth); her mother, Marjorie; her sister, Brenda (Tim) Dano; and beloved nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She was predeceased by her son, Robert "Bobby" Conklin III; her father, Jose Faria; and her stepfather, Gordon Roberts.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, June 11, 2026, from 4pm-7pm at Gates Funeral Home at 29 West Genesee Street, Baldwinsville, NY 13027.
