Arnold Dale Richards

Arnold Dale Richards, 80, of Baldwinsville, passed away on January 15, 2025 in Syracuse, NY.
Born on January 18, 1944, Arnie was known for his outgoing and fun-loving personality.
He proudly served as a Senior Airman in the United States Air Force, dedicating years of
service to his country. After his military career, he worked at General Electric, where he
contributed significantly to his field.
He is survived by his daughters, Stephanie Patel (Rakesh) and Dana Hill (Christopher) and four
grandchildren, Owen and Kendall Hill and Vidah and Veyah Patel. Arnie also leaves behind his
beloved significant other of many years, Adelheit Bippus, her daughter Deanna Roberts,
granddaughter Elizabeth Bushaw (Brett) and great granddaughter Arabella. He was preceded in
death by his wife, Vida Richards, who passed away in 1988.
Arnie had a zest for life, enjoying hobbies such as traveling, hunting, and working outdoors. He
was a cherished figure among his peers and family.
A visitation will be held at Gates Funeral Home, 29 West Genesee Street, Baldwinsville, from
5 PM to 7 PM on Monday, January 20. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the
Sunshine Horses Inc. Charity, 3721 Verplank Road, Clay NY 13041 in memory of Arnie. A
Memorial and burial service will be held in the Spring.
