Betty G (Foster) Meloling

Betty G. (Foster) Meloling August 20, 2019 Betty G Foster Meloling, 97 of Baldwinsville, passed away August 20 at Bishop Nursing Home after a long illness. She loved life and spending time with her family, and was an avid camper and traveler with friends and family. She was a valuable part of the Baldwinsville Methodist Church serving as Christian Ed Director, president of the Women's Society, and position as Layman Minister. She was ever the organizer with devotion to her church a priority. Mrs. Meloling graduated from Syracuse University in 1972 and was a teacher in Syracuse's Seymour School, she was always an advocate for her students. Betty was predeceased by her husband Howard Meloling, and son Norman Meloling Sr. She is survived by her sons Richard (Christine Hamm), Peter (Ellen Rogers), Thomas (Joanne Pientka), daughters Gayle (Raymond) Seubert, Martha Iadanza Whitney, and sister-in-law Zora Meloling. She was very close with her 16 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren, also many nieces and nephews. A memorial service is planned for a later date at the Baldwinsville Methodist Church, with arrangements through Gates Funeral Home Baldwinsville.
