Beverly J. Burns Koloski January 20, 2023 Beverly J. Koloski, 88, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 20, 2023, after a short illness. Born, June 22, 1934, in Clayton, NY to Fenton and Ethel Burns, she graduated from Clayton Central School in 1951 and also attended Central City Business Institute. Beverly married Eugene P. Koloski in 1956 and moved to Camillus, NY, where their four children were born. Beverly was an interior designer with Modular Interiors, was owner of Retrospect Dress Shop in Marcellus, and bookkeeper for Hillside Gardens. She was a church organist and a member of the choir at St. Mary's in Clayton. She was an avid golfer, enjoyed gardening, and antiques. Some of her fondest memories were in Florida and Cape Cod with her family and grandchildren. Beverly was predeceased by her parents, brother Robert, sister Marguerite Burns, sister Loretta, and son Philip. She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Eugene, son Peter (Mary) of Camillus, daughter Karen Gates (Ralph) of Baldwinsville, son Patrick (Mary Ellen) of Marcellus; four grandchildren, Madison Gates, Garett, Sean and Kendall Koloski and several nieces and nephews. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, January 26th at 12:30pm, at St. Francis of Xavier Catholic Church in Marcellus. Calling hours will precede the service from 10am-Noon. Burial will follow Mass at St. Francis Xavier Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Marcellus Park or M.A.V.E.S. The family would like to thank Peregrin Home Care, especially Sylvia, Carmen, and Natasha for their excellent care.
