Charles E. Hunter, M.D.

Dr. Charles Hunter,91, of Baldwinsville passed away Sunday September 1, 2024. He grew up in Marcellus and graduated from S.U. and Upstate Medical School.  After serving in the Army in Dugway, Utah, he went into pediatric practice in Baldwinsville and Liverpool for 30 years. 

He is survived by his wife Edith, son David (Vivian) Hunter, daughter Diane (Damian)(Hochmuth and grandchildren Melissa Hunter, Clara Hochmuth, Bethany Hunter and Leonard Hochmuth. 

During his life he was active in the heart association, Baldwinsville Community Band (trombone), Christmas Bureau, Baldwinsville Chamber of Commerce and Baldwinsville Presbyterian Church. 

A memorial service will be held at the church on Saturday September 21st at 11 AM with a reception following.  Contributions may be made to the  First Presbyterian Church or the Baldwinsville Community Band.
