Christopher Connelly Obituary

Christopher Robert Connelly passed away suddenly on August 21, 2020.  He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents Rosario and Assunta Liotta and his paternal grandparents Francis M. Connelly Sr, and Lillian Poliquin Connelly Brahim, his aunt Mary Patricia and Uncle Timothy Connelly. He is survived by his former wife Amy Wallace his parents Francis M. and MaryAnn Connelly Jr., brother Brian (Lauren), Sisters; Susan (Patrick) Lavin, Erin (Ryan) Connelly, Maureen Walker, Aunts and Uncles Anne Marie (Ken) De Klein, Christine (Peter) Smith and many nieces, nephews and cousins. 

 

Christopher was born on September 6, 1971 in Fort Bragg, North Carolina. He was a combat veteran of the war in Somalia serving with the 10th, Mountain Division. He graduated from Baker High School, Baldwinsville, NY, Onondaga Community College and Lemoyne University. He was an accomplished musician and played trumpet and Guitar. He was a member of the Baker field band that won the New York State Championship. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing.

 

Calling hours will be at Gates Funeral Home, Baldwinsville on Thursday August 27th. From 4 to 8Pm. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St Mary’s RC Church at 9Am, on Friday. Burial will follow in Riverview Cemetery with full military honors.
