Clarence "Skip" Thomas, Jr.

Clarence Thomas, 77, of Fulton, NY, passed away on Saturday, September 14, 2024, at Van Dyne Nursing Home after a short illness. Skip was born on February 25, 1947, in Watertown NY to Clarence Thomas Sr. and Emma Thomas.
Skip worked at Allied Chemical in Solvay NY for 19 years. He also worked at Woodlawn Cemetery for 25 years until his retirement.
He was a 1966 graduate of C.W. Baker High School. He ran track and was on the wrestling team.
Skip loved playing softball everywhere. Cato, Fulton, and Baldwinsville. His other passion was going fishing whenever he had the chance. He was also an avid hunter and loved being outdoors.
Skip was predeceased by his parents, Clarence and Emma Thomas, a sister Marion Niebieski, and a brother Gene Thomas.
He is survived by his loving companion, Nancy Thomas, his daughter Tammy (David) Reinhardt, his grandchildren Mathew and Amanda Reinhardt, and one great-grandchild Grace Reinhardt. Also, two sisters, Virginia (Terry) Ermiger, Linda Thomas.
There will be no calling hours or funeral service. There will be a graveside service held on Saturday, October 5 at 1:00pm, at the Lysander Union Cemetery, Lamson Rd., Lysander, NY.
