Clinton Mark Jenson

Clinton Mark Jensen, 70, passed quietly away in the early hours of
June 8, 2024. Mark was born in Fremont, MI on July 24, 1953 to
Ralph and Shirley Jensen, who moved to Baldwinsville early in his
life. He lived in the Baldwinsville area throughout his life.
He worked at a variety of jobs, including repairing railroad tracks
in his younger years and working at the P&C Warehouse, and
eventually retired from materials handling at McLane Northeast.
Mark lived life on his own terms. Sometimes a little rough around the edges, he had a
quick – and sometimes salty! – sense of humor. He loved his nieces and nephews, and his
love for animals was legendary. Squirrels ate out of his hand, and he was constitutionally
incapable of saying “no” to any cat in need; at one time he housed, cared for and loved 10
cats at once. His particular joy was his beloved cat Bo.
In addition to his parents, Mark was predeceased by his nephew Michael Ralph McQuade,
sister-in-law Kathy Jensen, and step-nephew Joshua Jensen. He is survived by his
brothers William Jensen and Ralph Jensen Jr, sisters Sally (Jamie) Carmer, Janet
McQuade and Lori Jensen, as well as eight nieces and nephews, several great-nieces and
great-nephews, and his loved one, Donna Cory.
Mark’s family would like to express their appreciation to the doctors and nurses at St.
Joseph’s hospital for their kindness and the compassionate care they provided Mark in his
last days, as well as the kindness and concern they showed to the family.
Per his request, there will be no services. A gathering of family and friends will be held at a
later date to celebrate his life. Contributions may be made in Mark’s memory to the CNY
