Gene R Eckley

Gene R. Eckley March 18, 2021 Gene R. Eckley, 84, of Baldwinsville, NY, passed away March 18, 2021, at Upstate Community Hospital following a long battle with Parkinson's disease. Gene was born and raised in Altoona, PA, by his parents, Evelyn and Clair Eckley. He married his wife Judy on June 6, 1959. They moved to Syracuse, NY, in 1962 to take a job with Carrier Transicold Corp. With hard work, he became a world wide sales manager after a few years. He was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Baldwinsville and was the church treasurer for 14 years. He was a Army Veteran serving during the Korean Conflict. Surviving: His loving Wife, Judy A. Eckley. Two Brothers, Charles Boose and Kenneth Eckley. 4 Nephews and 3 Nieces. Services: A Memorial service will be held at St. Mark's Lutheran Church at a time and date to be announced. Burial will be in Alto-Reste Park Cemetery, Altoona, PA. Gates Funeral Home, Baldwinsville has care of arrangements.
