Harriett T. Richardson

Harriett T. Richardson, 91 of North Syracuse passed away at home on Friday
surrounded by her family. She was one of 16 children born to Earl and Tressa Coe Wyman. She married Charles
N Richardson in 1948. Together they parented 8 children, 6 of their own, 2 adopted, as well as many foster children thru the years.
She is survived by her children, Lin (Richard) Mattes, Charles Jr. (Kathy), Ann (Charles) Lloyd, Cheryl (Bucky) Buckland, Debra (Rob) McKinstry-Sherwood, and Lillian Geelan. She is also survived by her brother Wayne Wyman as well as 17 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren, many nieces, and nephews who cherish her memory.
Harriett was pre-deceased by her husband of 51 years, daughter Melanie L. Colvin, grandson Dylan Mattes, great-great granddaughter Zoey Lynn Mattes. She was also predeceased by siblings: Alberta, Donald, Doris, Evelyn, Glen, Lyle, Margie, Shirley, Helen, Marvin, Richard, Charlotte, Patty and Vernon.
The family extends deep gratitude to all of the care givers at St. Josephs Home Care, Hospice of CNY, and each family member who made sacrifices to keep her at home. Contributions may be sent to Hospice of CNY, 990 7th North Street, Liverpool, NY.
Calling hours are 11 AM to 1 PM on Wednesday at Gates Funeral Home, 29 West Genesee Street, Baldwinsville. Services to follow at 1 PM. Spring internment.
