Joy L. Goodfellow

Joy L. Goodfellow (Calkins) was born on November 8, 1960, in Syracuse, NY, and passed away on April 11, 2024, in Syracuse, NY, at the age of 63. Joy was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt. She was known for her caring and compassionate nature, always putting her family first. Joy found great joy in watching her children and grandchildren excel in their sporting events.

Joy is survived by her spouse Glenn (Douglas) Goodfellow, sons Kristopher (Jamie) Goodfellow, Nicholas (Tori) Goodfellow, Benjamin (Allison) Goodfellow, Shaun (Taeler) Goodfellow, niece Brandy (Jeremy) Smart, grandchildren Kyra, Dayton, Landon, Jordan, Tanner, Harper, Kinser, Dallas, Mallorie, Cody, sisters Mary (Dan) Reardon, Tina Turner, brother Lewis (Sundee) Calkins, sister Robin Calkins, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father Lewis Calkins, mother Maryann Calkins, and sister Tammy Fenchel.

A celebration of life for Joy will be held on May 25th from 2-6 at the American Legion in Baldwinsville. Joy will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her memory will forever live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
