Judith Ann Osier-Lee, “Jude,” 77, passed away Wednesday, February 17, 2021, in her granddaughter, Julianna Vodek’s home, in Elbridge, NY. Her last days were spent lovingly cared for by her granddaughters, Julianna and Sarah, and her daughter, Kristin, and surrounded by her husband and family.
Prior to her death, Jude resided in Baldwinsville, NY, with her husband, Galen Lee, whom she first met during the blizzard of 1966, in Syracuse, NY. They reconnected forty years later and married in 2009. She is also survived by her three children: Edward, Kristin and Rachael Thayer, all of central New York. Also surviving are 11 grandchildren, and several great- grandchildren, as well as 4 siblings: Jezanna, Timothy (Joan), Danielle, and Jennifer Osier, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Avis and Benjamin Osier, and grandson, Andrew Thayer.
She was loved by many, who will always remember her infectious laugh, and generous spirit. She enjoyed entertaining, cooking and baking, bargain-hunting, reading and traveling throughout the US, and Europe. She was a devoted “Grammy,” and is already missed by her many grandchildren.
Calling hours will be held at Gates Funeral Home, 29 W. Genesee St., Baldwinsville, Tues., Feb. 23, 2021, from 4 to 7 pm; Graveside service will be on Wed., Feb. 24, 2021, at 12:00 pm. at Riverside Cemetery, 70 Tappan St.,Baldwinsville. Donations may be made to the Female Charitable Society, Inc., 10 River St., Baldwinsville.
