Kathryn A Kinney

Kathryn "Kathy" A. Kinney November 2, 2020 Kathy Kinney, born March 29, 1945, passed away unexpectedly at age 75 years old, on November 2nd, 2020. She spent her adult life helping others as a nurse, working with disabled children. She was an avid member of the Bluegrass community, where she could be heard singing. She was pre-deceased by her mother, Norma "Granny" Sweet, and her husband, Charles Kinney. She is survived by her daughters, Kara Kinney (Wayne), and Samantha Kinney-Rose (Scott). Her four grandchildren, Kathryn Warner, Justin Rose (Elizabeth), George Rose (Kylie), and Patti Griffin. 3 siblings and many nieces and nephews, with whom she enjoyed spending time with. As per her wishes, a celebration of life will be held in Summer 2021 and will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Upstate Cancer Center.
