Laura C. Hudson

Laura C. Hudson, 59, of Baldwinsville, died February 4, 2025 at University Hospital after a brief illness. A 1983 graduate of C.W. Baker High School, Baldwinsville, she worked for over 35 years at Tops Friendly Markets (formerly P&C Foods) until retiring in 2019. You were a stranger until she met you, and then she became your friend.

She was predeceased by her parents, Charles "Charley" and Violet "Mickey" Hudson, and her beloved sister, Toni Ann.

She is survived by her sisters, Linda (Tim) Reed of Fulton and Maria (Corey) Johnson of Baldwinsville; nephews and niece Alek Reed and Summer (Bobby) Bonnie of Fulton and Tyler Johnson of Baldwinsville; great-nieces and nephew, Brooklynne Reed, Dylan Reed, Harper Reed and Sophia Bonnie of Fulton; aunts, Jacquelin of Onondaga Hill and Andrea (Russell) of Greensboro, NC; and many cousins all over the US.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, February 11, from 4 - 6 p.m. at the Gates Funeral Home, 29 W. Genesee St, Baldwinsville, with a service to follow at 6 p.m. at the funeral home. 

A spring burial will be held in Plainville Cemetery, Plainville in May.

Laura has previously said, " I don't want people to dress up at my funeral". Causal dress is welcomed and encouraged.
