Phillip M. Jones

Phillip M. Jones, 39, originally of Binghamton, NY, entered into the presence of the Lord on August 25, 2025. 

Phil was a devoted man of God whose life reflected love, kindness, and faithfulness. The Jones family Welsh motto, “Coelitus Mihi Vires” (My Strength Comes from Heaven), was a guiding theme through every season. 

Phil was a cherished husband and his greatest joy was spending time with his loving wife Alicia, and their two Goldendoodles, Bones and Briggs. Phil was known for his strong work ethic, authenticty, sense of humor, and willingness to serve others. 

Phil was predeceased by grandparents Audrey and Truman Jones, Dorothy and Richard Hetherington, uncle Steven Deere, and stepfather Tom Walsh. 

He is survived by his wife, Alicia Jones, his mother, Cindy Walsh, his father, Rhys (Roxann) Jones, and brother, Stephen (Karissa) Jones. He leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends- new and old. 

While Phil will be deeply missed, we take comfort in the promise of eternal life through Jesus Christ. Calling hours will be on Friday, August 29 at Gates Funeral Home in Baldwinsville from 10-12pm, with a short service to follow.
