Richard "Dick" Rice

Richard “Dick” Rice 80, of Baldwinsville, NY, passed into eternity surrounded by his loving family on November 20, 2024. He was a mechanic for CENTRO for 31 years. He loved being out in nature working on his tractors, chopping wood, and tinkering in his barn. Dick loved camping with his family and watching the races.  One of his greatest joys was sitting down on Sundays with his grandson and watching the race together.  Dick is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Carolyn, and his two sons Rusty (Samantha), and Mike (Kim).  Dick adored spending much of his time with his three beautiful grandchildren: Catharina, Andrew and Mallory.  Calling hours will be at Gates Funeral Home in Baldwinsville from 5-7pm on Monday, November 25th.  The funeral will be a private graveside service.  In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Community Wesleyan Church in Baldwinsville or to Greater Baldwinsville Ambulance Corps.
